1 Corinthians 5:5

(KJV)  To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Fleshly desires(lust) had caused this brother to sin(1Corinthians 5:1). These unlawful desires must stop. By withdrawing from the brother, he could realize that he was lost in sin and not in fellowship with God and the church. This would hopefully cause him to repent and his fleshly unlawful desires would be destroyed(敗壞他的肉體). While he was in sin, he was under Satan's control. When he repented(2Corinthians 2:5-11), fellowship was restored and he was forgiven.
