God is perfect in His ability to deliver blessings to those who obey Him and punishment to those who disobey.  Human judges are not perfect and sometimes people suffer unfairly because of them.  It is not so with God.  He is all-knowing and will always deal fairly with men.  “He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.” (Deuteronomy 32:4) 

“That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?” (Genesis 18:25) “The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.” (Ezekiel 18:20)

Since God is just and fair, He will also never ask us to do something that is impossible for us to do and then condemn us for not doing it. If He gives us a command, it’s possible!

1 Tim 2:12 ( KJV )  But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. T.A.: My wife and some other sisters were having a Bible study in Hualien. A non-Christian man who knew one of the women came in and sat down. My wife stopped teaching and tried to tell him that she could not teach with a man present.  She said it embarrassed the man and he left and never saw him again.  She feels she handled the situation wrongly.  She thinks now that she should have kept teaching and after the class explained what the Bible teaches and encouraged him to attend the men's classes. That  might be the best way to handle that situation. The word "silence " in I Timothy 2:12 follows "teach,  nor to usurp authority over the man "  This describes a situation where a woman robs authority that God has not given her. Often the appeal was framed as a challenge to return to the Lord (Isaiah 6:10; Jeremiah 3:1; Malachi 3:7). For instance, Joel’s appeal to Judah was for the people to repent of their sins. “So rend your heart”, and “return to the Lord your God” (Joel 2:13). Through the distribution of His judgments (locusts, drought, desolation), God admonished His people to come out of their sin and back to Him. It was His loving purpose to prompt a change in their direction. The essential definition of repentance has not changed through the dispensations. We can, therefore, use Joel’s statement as the basis for our understanding of returning to the Lord. With the death of the last Apostle , the ability to transmit miraculous power ceased.
