Rev 11:19 -忠心基督徒的結局
By Jimmy Lau
Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Christians are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Our Lord says: “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28). The persecutors could kill the bodies of the saints but they could not kill their souls. John, in this wonderful vision “heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them” (v.12).
The vision is, that these witnesses, after bearing a faithful testimony for the gospel of Christ, were persecuted and killed, but they were raised up and ascended into heaven: “Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life” (Revelation 2:10).
