靈與魂,都可指向“內在的人” (Ecc. 12:7)
👴根據Vine NT dictionary:
- “Spirit靈” in the NT can mean : 'the inward man' (an expression used only of the believer, Rom 7:22; 2Co 4:16; Eph 3:16);
- "Soul魂" in the NT can alos mean "the inward man," the seat of the new life, Luk 21:19 (cf. Mat 10:39); 1Pe 2:11; 3Jn 1:2.
👶Ecc. 12:7 then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it. 塵土仍歸於地,靈仍歸於賜靈的神。
- Albert Barnes:
The spirit - i. e., The spirit separated unto God from the body at death. No more is said here of its future destiny. To return to God, who is the fountain Psa 36:9 of Life, certainly means to continue to live. The doctrine of life after death is implied here as in Exo 3:6 (compare Mrk 12:26), Psa 17:15 (see the note), and in many other passages of Scripture earlier than the age of Solomon.
- Danny Petrillo in WVBS course note of Ecc.:
return to God who gave it... Solomon has found the answer to 3:21 - here is the answer to that question (Acts 7:59; Lk 23:46; Heb 9:27). This is one of the few hints of continued existence.
