One will be taken, and one will be left? 取去一個，撇下一個? (Mt 24:37-42)

24:37

“For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.”
「因為人子的來臨，就像挪亞的日子一樣。」

The pattern in Noah’s time explains the meaning of the following verses.
挪亞時代的模式決定接下來經文的語義。

In Noah’s day, the wicked were destroyed, and the righteous were preserved alive.
在挪亞的日子，惡人被毀滅，義人被保存存活。

24:38

“For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage…”
「在洪水以前，人照常吃喝、嫁娶……」

Jesus does not condemn daily life activities; He condemns ignoring eternity.
耶穌不是責備日常事務，而是責備忽視永恆。

“And they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away…”
「直到洪水來，把他們全都帶去，他們才明白……」

“Took them all away” means the wicked were removed in judgment.
「把他們帶去」指惡人被帶走接受審判。

Those who were left—Noah and his family—were the ones preserved for life.
被留下的——挪亞一家——是被保存、得以存活的人。

“Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.”
「那時兩個人在田裡，取去一個，撇下一個。」

“Taken” (paralambanetai) follows Noah’s pattern: taken = removed in judgment.
「取去」（paralambanetai）依照挪亞的模式：取去＝被帶走受審判。

“Left” (aphietai) means left alive, preserved by God just as Noah was.
「撇下」（aphietai）意為被留下、被神保存，如同挪亞一般。

Therefore, the one who is left is the one preserved for Heaven.
因此，被撇下的那一位是被保存、要進入天堂的人。

The numbers are not a ratio; Jesus is illustrating separation, not percentages.
數字不是比例；耶穌在描繪的是「分別」，不是「比例」。

（ＪＹ：「撇下」這翻譯不是很好，「留下、不取走、保存」可能更好。）

“Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.”
「兩個女人推磨，取去一個，撇下一個。」

Again, taken = judgment; left = preserved for eternal life.
再次強調：取去＝審判；撇下＝被保存進入永生。

Their identical work shows that God judges based on the heart, not the occupation.
她們做著相同的工作，顯示神按照人的心，而非外在工作來作審判。

“The one who is left is the person whose heart shows obedience, repentance, perseverance, and a sincere walk in the light.”
「被撇下／保存的人，就是那顆在順服、悔改、恆心行善、並行在光中的內心。」

“Taken” means removed in judgment, just like the wicked in the flood.
