我为何称呼「神」而不称呼「上帝」? 資料來源:我为何称呼「神」而不称呼「上帝」? (宗派人士 黄迦勒 )    (本文節錄我們贊同的部分。) 一、「神」和「上帝」两种称呼的由来:   1. 两种称呼均由希伯来文 Elohim 、希腊文 Theos 翻译而来,英文翻作 God ( 真神 )  或  god(s) ( 假神 ) ,中文则分别翻作「神」或「上帝」。   2. 一般习惯,美国传教士和中国北方基督徒喜欢用「神」字,英国传教士和中国南方基督徒喜欢用「上帝」一词。   3. 中文和合本圣经有「神」版和「上帝」版两种,圣经公会为使两种版本的版面和页数维持一致,就在「神」的前面空一格,并非表示尊敬神。   二、「上帝」称法的缺失:   1. 翻译成「上帝」的原意,是要避免被不信的中国人,将我们所信的真神和假神混淆在一起。其实,迷信的中国人也将宇宙的最高统治者称为「玄天上帝」或「玉皇大帝」,在中国东北地方也有「上帝庙」,所拜的是偶像假神,所以「上帝」一词并不能免除与偶像假神混淆的缺点。   2. 中文和合本的「上帝版」圣经,除了将真神称作「上帝」、而将假神翻译成「神」或「神明」之外,凡与真神有关联的词语仍旧使用「神」字,例如:「神人」、「神性」、「神迹」、「神子」、「神能」、「至高的神」、「主神」、「父神」、「圣神」 … 等。这种现象,相当矛盾。   3. 「上帝」一词的观念,多少受到罗马天主教「天主」、「上主」的影响,承认祂至高无上的权位,但在地上却有代表祂权位的「教宗」,实际上,人们架空了真神的权位,以致祂的旨意不能行在地上如同行在天上 ( 参太六 10) ,做「天上的神」,祂的心更希望做「天地的神」,与属祂的人同在、同行、相交。   4. 「上帝」的称法没有「神」称法所具有的长处 ( 详见下述 ) 。   三、「神」称法的长处:   1. 「神」字符合原文 Elohim 、 Theos 属名的性质,表示和人并其他活物不同类。   2. 「神」字除了作为名词之用以外,尚可用来修饰其他的字词,非常方便。   3. 「神」字除了表达对祂权位的尊称以外,尚可用来形容与祂有关联的一切。   4. 「神」字...
