To beat covetousness, one needs three things:

 1. A God-fearing attitude

 2. Contentment.

 3. Integrity.

Paul agrees and wrote by inspiration: “But godliness with contentment is great gain” (1 Timothy 6:6). 

 Godliness is fearing God. 
When we add godliness with contentment, we get integrity.
