## Introduction 前言

Many Christians today either misunderstand the Holy Spirit as merely a mystical feeling, or reduce Him to nothing more than the written words of Scripture. The Bible presents a more balanced picture.

今天許多基督徒，對聖靈有兩種極端的誤解：

一種是把聖靈當成一種神秘感覺；

另一種則把聖靈縮減成「只是聖經文字本身」。

但聖經所呈現的，其實是一個更平衡的圖畫。

Romans 8:9 says:

“Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.”

羅馬書 8:9 說：

「人若沒有基督的靈，就不是屬基督的。」

1 Corinthians 6:19 says:

“Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you.”

哥林多前書 6:19 說：

「你們的身子就是聖靈的殿。」

The Holy Spirit truly indwells Christians today.

今天聖靈的確真實地內住在基督徒裡面。

## What the Indwelling Does NOT Mean 聖靈內住「不是」什麼意思

However, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit today should not be understood as direct revelation, emotional impulses, mystical voices, or miraculous powers like those given to the apostles in the first century.

然而，今天聖靈的內住，並不應被理解成：

* 直接啟示

* 情緒衝動

* 神秘聲音

* 像第一世紀使徒那樣的神蹟能力

## Miracles in the First Century 第一世紀的神蹟

The apostles were specially commissioned to perform miracles in order to confirm the gospel and the divine revelation that was still being revealed at that time.

使徒當時被特別賦予行神蹟的使命，

是為了印證福音與當時仍在啟示中的真理。

Hebrews 2:3-4 explains that miracles were given as signs confirming the message.

希伯來書 2:3-4 說明，

神蹟是用來證實所傳信息的記號。

Today, the New Testament has already been completed.

如今，新約聖經已經完成。

God still has all power and can intervene providentially according to His will, but Christians today are not commissioned to perform apostolic miracles as a normal ministry.

神今天仍然完全有能力，也能按祂的旨意介入人的生命；

但今天的基督徒，並沒有被賦予使徒式神蹟事工的普遍使命。

## How Does the Holy Spirit Work Today? 那麼今天聖靈如何工作？

The Holy Spirit works through the truth He revealed.

聖靈透過祂所啟示的真理工作。

Ephesians 6:17 says:

“The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

以弗所書 6:17 說：

「聖靈的寶劍，就是神的道。」

The Word of God is the sword used by the Spirit, but the sword itself is not the Spirit.

神的道是聖靈所使用的寶劍，

但寶劍本身並不是聖靈。

Just as a soldier uses an M16 rifle, the soldier is not the rifle itself.

正如士兵使用 M16 步槍，

但士兵本身並不是那把槍。

In the same way, the Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to teach, convict, strengthen, and sanctify believers.

同樣地，聖靈使用神的道來教導、責備、堅固並使信徒成聖。

Without the Word of God, we cannot properly follow the Spirit.

若離開神的道，

我們就無法正確地跟隨聖靈。

The Spirit never leads people away from the truth already revealed in Scripture.

聖靈永遠不會帶領人離開聖經已經啟示的真理。

## Evidence of the Holy Spirit’s Indwelling 聖靈內住的證據

Therefore, the clearest evidence of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling today is not miraculous displays or emotional excitement, but a transformed life.

因此，今天聖靈內住最清楚的證據，

不是神蹟表演，也不是情緒高昂，

而是一個被改變的生命。

Galatians 5 speaks of the fruit of the Spirit:

* Love

* Joy

* Peace

* Patience

* Kindness

* Goodness

* Faithfulness

* Gentleness

* Self-control

加拉太書 5 章提到聖靈的果子：

* 仁愛

* 喜樂

* 和平

* 忍耐

* 恩慈

* 良善

* 信實

* 溫柔

* 節制

A Christian indwelt by the Holy Spirit becomes more holy, more obedient to God’s truth, and more like Christ.

一個被聖靈內住的基督徒，

會越來越聖潔、越來越順服真理、越來越像基督。
