Five Reasons Why the Knowledge of God Is Essential 「神的知識／認識神」很重要的五個理由

1. To Know About Ourselves 幫助我們認識自己

We must know where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going.

我們必須知道我們從哪裡來、為什麼在這裡、以及將往哪裡去。

“Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgment.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13–14)

「敬畏神，謹守祂的誡命，這是人所當盡的本分；因為人所做的一切事，神都必審問。」（傳道書12:13–14）

Without the knowledge of God, we misunderstand ourselves and our purpose.

沒有神的知識，人就會誤解自己的身分與目的。

Ramification: one wrong belief produces many layers of consequences.

連鎖後果：一個錯誤的觀念會衍生出多層錯誤的結果。

When truth is distorted, injustice and sin follow.

當真理被扭曲，不公與罪就隨之而來。

God’s truth defines reality, including who we are.

神的真理定義現實，包括我們是誰。

2. To Have Acceptable Worship 使我們擁有神所悅納的敬拜

God is not far from each one of us, yet people often worship wrongly. (Acts 17:22–27)

神離我們各人不遠，但人卻常常錯誤地敬拜。（使徒行傳17:22–27）

“The Divine Nature is not like gold or silver or stone—something shaped by human art.” (Acts 17:29)

「神的本性不該以為像金、銀、石，是人手所雕刻的。」（使徒行傳17:29）

God now commands all people everywhere to repent and will judge the world through Jesus. (Acts 17:30–31)

神如今吩咐各處的人都要悔改，並要藉著耶穌審判天下。（使徒行傳17:30–31）

Worship is intricate—both in the Old and New Testament.

敬拜是精細的，在舊約與新約都是如此。

“What was written before was written for our instruction.” (Romans 15:4)

Without faith it is impossible to please Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

「人非有信，就不能得神的喜悅。」（希伯來書11:6）

Faith means accepting and acting upon God’s word.

信心就是接受並實踐神的話。

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17)

「信道是從聽道來的，聽道是從基督的話來的。」（羅馬書10:17）

True worship is in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

真正的敬拜是在靈裡和真理中。（約翰福音4:24）

It is not about physical forms, but engaging the mind based on truth.

不是外在形式，而是用心思在真理中回應神。

The Old Testament used physical shadows; the New Testament reveals the substance—Christ.

舊約是實體的影子，新約顯明實質—基督。

Christ’s sacrifice is the true and perfect sacrifice that cleanses sins.

基督的犧牲是唯一完全、真正潔淨罪的祭。

3. To Be Godly (To Be Like God) 使我們成為敬虔、像神的人

“Fear God and keep His commandments.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

「敬畏神，謹守祂的誡命。」（傳道書12:13）

Godliness is not doing what we feel is right, but what God says is right.

敬虔不是做自己覺得對的事，而是照神所說的去行。

We learn how to live by observing how God treats others.

我們從神如何對待人，學習如何生活。

God shows forgiveness and love.

神顯出赦免與愛。

Jesus is the perfect example.

耶穌是最完全的榜樣。

To know God is to become like Him.

認識神，就是被塑造成像祂。

4. To Know Eternal Life 使我們認識永生

“This is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ.” (John 17:3)

「認識你獨一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督，這就是永生。」（約翰福音17:3）

“These are written that you may believe…and have life in His name.” (John 20:30–31)

「記這些事，是要叫你們信…並且因信祂的名得生命。」（約翰福音20:30–31）

God created the universe and man; therefore He can raise the dead.

神創造宇宙與人，因此祂也能叫死人復活。

“He raised Him from the dead…so that your faith and hope are in God.” (1 Peter 1:20–21)

「神叫祂從死裡復活…叫你們的信心和盼望都在於神。」（彼得前書1:20–21）

“These things I have written…that you may know you have eternal life.” (1 John 5:13)

「我將這些話寫給你們，是要叫你們知道自己有永生。」（約翰一書5:13）

Christ became the source of eternal salvation. (Hebrews 5:9)

「祂成了順從祂之人的永遠救恩的根源。」（希伯來書5:9）

Through faith and obedience, salvation is received.

透過信心與順服，人得著救恩。

Christ completed and fulfilled the plan of redemption.

基督完成並成全了救贖的計畫。

5. To Know Eternal Damnation 使我們認識永遠的刑罰

God will repay those who do not know Him and do not obey the gospel. (2 Thessalonians 1:6–8)

神要報應那些不認識神、不聽從福音的人。（帖撒羅尼迦後書1:6–8）

“They will be punished with everlasting destruction.” (2 Thessalonians 1:9)

「他們要受永遠沉淪的刑罰。」（帖撒羅尼迦後書1:9）

This is a serious and eternal consequence.

這是一個嚴肅且永遠的結果。

Knowing God is not optional—it determines our eternal destiny.

認識神不是選項，而是決定永恆結局的關鍵。

Conclusion 結論

The knowledge of God leads to truth, worship, life, and judgment.
