These are my notes from a Thursday Bible study with Brother G, for my personal study and sharing.

How God Reveals Himself

神如何啟示祂自己

1. Through Nature（藉著自然）

• Romans 1:19–20, 21–23

What may be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

But although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him… and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images.

神的事情，人所能知道的，原顯明在人心裡，因為神已經給他們顯明。自從造天地以來，神的永能和神性是明明可知的，雖是眼不能見，但藉著所造之物就可以曉得，叫人無可推諉。

但人雖然知道神，卻不當作神榮耀祂，也不感謝祂…反而去拜偶像。

→ God reveals His existence and power through creation.

→ 神透過受造界讓人知道祂的存在與能力。

→ The problem is not lack of revelation, but rejection.

→ 問題不是沒有啟示，而是人拒絕。

• Psalm 19:1–6; 8:3–9

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.

諸天述說神的榮耀，穹蒼傳揚祂的手段。

→ Creation is constantly “speaking” about God.

→ 自然界一直在「說話」，見證神。

• Job 38–41

Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind…

那時，耶和華從旋風中回答約伯…

→ God uses creation to humble man and reveal His greatness.

→ 神藉著創造顯明祂的偉大，使人謙卑。

→ Man cannot change what God has designed.

→ 人無法改變神所設計的本質，只能選擇順服或對抗。

2. Through Jesus Christ（藉著耶穌基督）

• John 14:9

Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father.

人看見了我，就是看見了父。

→ Jesus is the visible revelation of the invisible God.

→ 耶穌是看不見之神最清楚的顯現。

• 1 Timothy 3:16

God was manifested in the flesh.

神在肉身顯現。

→ God entered human history in visible form.

→ 神親自進入歷史，成為人。

• John 1:1, 14

The Word was with God, and the Word was God… The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

道與神同在，道就是神…道成了肉身，住在我們中間。

→ Jesus is not just from God—He is God.

→ 耶穌不只是從神來，祂就是神。

• John 5:20

For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all He does.

父愛子，將自己所做的一切事指給祂看。

→ The Son perfectly reveals the Father.

→ 子完全顯明父。

• John 17:8

I came from You, and they believed that You sent Me.

我從你出來，他們也信你差了我來。

→ Jesus is sent by the Father with full authority.

→ 耶穌是從父而來，帶著完全的權柄。

3. Through His Word（藉著祂的話）

• Hebrews 1:1–2

In the past God spoke through the prophets… but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son.

神從前藉著先知多次多方說話…末世藉著祂兒子說話。

→ Revelation is progressive and fulfilled in Christ.

→ 啟示是漸進的，在基督裡完成。

• John 12:48–50

What I have spoken… the Father who sent Me commanded Me what to say.

我所講的話…是差我來的父吩咐我說的。

→ Jesus speaks exactly what the Father commands.

→ 耶穌所說的完全出於父。

• John 16:13–15

The Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth… He will take what is Mine and declare it to you.

真理的聖靈要引導你們明白一切的真理…祂要將我的告訴你們。

→ The Holy Spirit delivers Christ’s message to men.

→ 聖靈把基督的話傳給人。

• 2 Timothy 3:16–17

All Scripture is God-breathed.

聖經都是神所默示的。

→ Scripture is the final, complete revelation for us today.

→ 聖經是我們今天所領受的完整啟示。

• Colossians 2:8–9

In Christ all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form.

神本性一切的豐盛，都有形有體地居住在基督裡。

→ All truth is centered in Christ.

→ 一切真理的中心在基督裡。

Conclusion（結論）

God reveals Himself in three primary ways: through creation (nature), through Jesus Christ, and through His Word.

神透過三個主要方式啟示祂自己：藉著自然界、藉著耶穌基督、以及藉著祂的話語（聖經）。

Creation shows that God exists and is powerful; Jesus shows who God is; and Scripture tells us exactly what God says and requires.

自然界讓人知道「神的存在與能力」；耶穌讓人看見「神的本質」；而聖經則清楚告訴人「神說了什麼、要求什麼」。

Revelation Path（啟示的路徑）

God → Jesus → Holy Spirit → Bible authors → Scripture → us

神 → 基督 → 聖靈 → 聖經作者 → 聖經 → 我們

This chain cannot be separated. God speaks through Christ; Christ’s words are delivered by the Holy Spirit to the apostles and other Bible authors, and are preserved in Scripture for us today.

這條鏈是不能拆開的：神藉著基督說話；基督的話透過聖靈傳給使徒和聖經作者，並被記錄在聖經中，讓今天的我們可以領受。

If we want to know God truly, we must follow this path—not bypass it.

若人要真正認識神，就必須走這條路，而不是繞過它。

最後一句很簡單，但很關鍵：

God is not hidden.

He is clearly revealed.

神沒有隱藏。

只是人常常不願意照祂已經說的去看。
